Air Fried Artichoke
Ingredients
- 1 large artichoke
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, grated
- Zest of half a lemon
- Sea salt, to taste
- Mayonnaise, for serving
Instructions
- Cut the artichoke in half through the stem.
- Steam the halves until they are fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- In a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of olive oil, grated garlic clove, and lemon zest. Add a pinch of sea salt.
- Brush the olive oil mixture over the steamed artichoke halves.
- Air fry at 400°F (200°C) until golden, placing them face side up, for about 5-10 minutes.
- Serve with mayonnaise and a discard bowl for the leaves. Add more sea salt to taste if needed.
